The French door is in! The difference in the kitchen/nook is really stunning.
Outside this door is a small landing with stairs to existing deck and the backyard.
The wall to the left will go away or get pushed out to the start of the existing stairway and then the door will be in the center of the wall. On the other side of the new wall, the stairs will disappear and there will be a pantry.
Tomorrow, we hope to finish some cleanout and secure all the new doors and windows. Then maybe we can open up the temporary wall between old and new construction.
Then, it's on to paint and choosing a new front exterior door. I'll be home all next week painting etc.
