Well, it's looking better and better every day. Loaded up the new fridge, so we are in business.

Today, the countertops came in. I was a little worried when L sent me pix at work, even though it was EXACTLY what I asked for. Can you see the "coaster" in the second pix, the little sample the tile place gave us when we were trying to decide ??

but once I got home and saw it in the kitchen light, it looked less gray and more warm.

For the first time in a long time, it's beginning to feel like a home and not a construction project.
