The ceiling in Nook/Dining Room has a recessed panel in the center. I'm not sure exactly how we're going to handle that in terms of paint etc. Maybe nothing. L mentioned maybe stenciling the perimeter with some sort of Gaelic thing.
L's also thinking about stenciling something on the dropped panel in Living Room ceiling. I'm kind of "eh...." about that. Those are load-bearing beams. So, we can't get rid of them unless we lowered the entire ceiling, which would make the room feel very cramped. I think a pseudo-track lighting scenario, like the one in the office, would be kind of cool.
