A bit of a snore

The framing is done, it will be a couple weeks before we get windows and doors and drywall after that. So there might not be a whole lot to see for a while.

We had typical roofer issues, which I'm too annoyed to detail here, but this was the roof as of Monday evening: (he RAN OUT of shingles)

He finished it Tuesday. All I'm gonna say is, clearly, roofers do not build on repeat business.

Sunday, we bought light fixtures for bathroom vanity and garage front entrance. I don't think they are even out of the box; maybe pix for next entry.

This weekend, several out-of-town relatives came to visit and tour and pronounced the efforts so far as wonderful. I think so too, now that we don't have buckets under every plumbing vent or seam between new and old.

Still searching for the infamous 5-foot vanity. L and I have different tastes, maybe we should compromise and get one that neither of us likes.....
